This is the third in a series called "Foreign Shores" and while the first two were taken close to the water, this photo was taken about 100 yards away and perhaps 30 feet higher in elevation. But as mind boggling as it is to me, this area clearing experienced pretty heavy water erosion: the apparently sculpted sandstone rocks keeping the cactus company were not hand carved!
