Tuesday, June 9, was the last day of school for our two oldest granddaughters and our tradition has been to take them camping. And so we did. Maggie, the youngest, has generally been left behind. But she’s on to us and so we had all 3!
Believe it or not, they are almost perfectly behaved children, which made 4 hour rides and living in a small camper with has less than 50 square feet of floor space generally bearable. However, a half day of sometimes heavy rain on day 2 was a bit challenging to the patience of Grandma and Grandpa.
In this photo, the rain had finally stopped and I think Grandma had ordered them out of the camper. Are they happy campers? I think so. And Interstate State Park on the St. Croix river in east central Minnesota was a perfect place to be with these three sisters.
