People of my generation may appreciate the allusion in the title and in the photo to the wonderful Alfred Hitchcock thriller by the same title as this post. Some of "North By Northwest" was filmed in the Black Hills, especially at Mt. Rushmore.
But there was one scene that was filmed on a road somewhere out on the plains where the star, Cary Grant, gets buzzed by a small airplane. The scene could have been filmed where I am in this photo, though the only thing that buzzed me was my small drone - a DJI Phantom 4 Pro. Like the other drone photo posted on the 11th, this is a selfie. But you'll have to have good eyes to see me. (I'm sitting on a little chair behind the truck.)
My location here is north by northwest of Watertown, by the way. I've seen and photographed this area many times. But I've never seen it like this.
