The lilies are blooming again and, like many seasonal things, they come and are quickly gone with barely a notice. South Dakotans like me should not take summer things for granted.
But yesterday morning I looked out the window and saw that heavy dew had painted this lily and its many partners with beads of water. And so I took a few photos. I actually took 30 because I wasn’t using a tripod and its hard to get even 1 photo with all the right things in focus - a lily has a lot of parts. I decided that this one would have to do.
