We are in the Twin Cities to help our son and daughter-in-law relocate to their first real house. Yesterday was a very busy day. But this morning gave us pause to spend some real quality time with our granddaughter Glenyce Jane. And with Brian and Katie, of course.
I am fascinated by almost everything Glenyce does. I feel guilty about this in that I don't remember feeling the same fascination for sons Brian and Jon when they were her age. I'd like to think I am more observant now. And more appreciative. And much wiser about the fact that little children don't stay little long.
Here Glenyce Jane is wrapped up in a story starring Elmo. Elmo is red but if you ask GJ what color he is, she'll say, "Yellow." But everything is yellow to her right now. Is is coincidental that yellow is her father's favorite color?
