Not too far from Spearfish, SD, there is a small parking area for a place known as "The Devil's Bathtub." It is a fairly ambitious hike up the stream, with several creek crossings and with poison ivy in healthy patches along parts of the path. But it's worth the hike.
Scott P. and I had been here 30 ago and yesterday we decided that it was time to return. We visited on a Monday but it was a busy place. But I was patient and after everyone cleared out I had a few minutes to work on getting this photo, which is really 5 different exposures.
