As I count them, there are 11 places in South Dakota that you can cross the Missouri River in a car. The 212 bridge, pictured here, is one of them. And, if you ask me, it is the most photogenic of them all. As you can see in this photo, taken late in September, 2017, I had a great day to capture the pristine beauty of of what South Dakotans call "The River" and the beautiful bridge that is a gateway to "West River."
