If "mundane" means common or ordinary, then this photo is mundane. If "mundane" means earthly, worldly or terrestrial, then this photo is most certainly mundane. And yet here it is: the earth, sea and sky on yet another day being photographed by yet another photographer, who is, in most ways, also mundane.
But there is spirit here - a presence and force - that a photograph can't reveal. Maybe you can feel it? It is certainly a blessing to be standing on a nearly silent shore just as the sun lights up the clouds and sky. I would never get tired of this. No matter how common it all may be.
