A web design client in Salt Lake City ordered a digital copy of this photo and because the original was taken and edited in 2011, I decided to re-do the photo. This is an HDR photo done in the very early stages of my learning about this process. There are two different exposures layered here. These days, I generally use between 3 and 9 exposures. This photo shows an obviously "unreal" landscape. But the client liked the looked and so I needed to reproduce it
And so, I present the picture, in part because I have fond memories of the place, which I have visited often of the last 10 years. It's also what the Utah client saw and liked.
The old farm and buildings have been destroyed and the land has been turned to cropland. I am saddened by this. But I understand that the farmer has to be practical and old farm buildings like this have little or no value. . . .
