Evie D. celebrated her 8th birthday yesterday. Our plan was to be there but weather conspired against a trip to Sioux Falls. So Deb and I were there only in spirit.
This morning, as is so often the case, in the hunt for something worth posting, I came across this photo, taken at Evie’s baptism. It is a beautiful moment in the life of a child and of a family. (That’s brother Ethan in the bottom of the frame, who had moved in for a closer look.)
