21.08.22 Point of View
By Scott Shephard
When I stepped outside this morning to catch sight of the setting moon, it was 55 degrees, which seemed downright cold given the many warm days and nights we have experienced this summer. And there was something about this that made me a little nostalgic about the things that come and go during the summer months that we take little notice of but which we long for when they are gone and covered in snow.
And so I offer this humble incipient coneflower bloom today as a reminder of many things. Of summer, certainly. But perhaps also of youth and maybe even of Hope. We should certainly celebrate all of these.
